Tanglin Singapore Gin
Country of Origin : Singapore
Unexpected flavors with Old World heritage. The third expression from Singapore’s first and award-winning gin is designed to reflect the cultures and cuisines of its home country. Singapore Gin combines native Asian ingredients such as Young Ginger and Kaffir Lime Leaves with Chili, Cassia and Mandarin Peel. Ginger and Chili give the taste buds a lift with a slight tingle on the lips.
Next to an Indian Tonic, this gin works well with Soda, Ice, and finish with a Lime wheel. Or try it in a Red Snapper - the breakfast gin drink.
Singapore's First! The Merlion, hawker markets and Crazy Rich Asians...Singapore is known for many things, but one thing that wouldn’t necessarily come to mind is gin. However, Tanglin is changing this perception in a huge way. In 2018, Tanglin opened the first Gin distillery in Singapore. Tanglin refers to the Tanglin area, where spices were originally grown in Singapore. The tiger-infested land was cultivated to grow Sireh, Pepper, Nutmeg and Ginger. Singapore has a vibrant history as a stop on the Spice Trade Route and now finally its own Gin. Distilleries in Asia are on the rise but Tanglin still finds itself in a select company.
